TORONTO, Oct. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- SCI announced today that it has deployed a rigorous re-certification program for all 33 manufacturers of Automotive Lead Management Tools who supply and support GM Dealers in the United States. Certification will ensure that Lead Management Tools will electronically receive, process and optimally manage leads for their dealer clients, as well as being able to report back to GM their status and disposition.
SCI provides GM with an electronic lead delivery and consolidation "pipeline" system that seamlessly transmits leads to dealers in seconds. The system collects all in-bound leads and provides various options that enrich customer and lead information, before delivering the lead to the Dealer's Lead Management system. Consolidation reporting tracks the status and nature of each lead through all stages of its lifecycle.
The Certified Lead Management & Integration Partner program was recently revised by SCI, requiring rigorous testing and adherence to the AIAG (Automotive Industry Action Group) STAR Program (Standards for Technology in Automotive Retail). Lead Management solution providers who subscribe to the new SCI certification will be able to receive more detailed and complete information about vehicles of interest and the prospects requesting the information, enabling dealers to provide more detailed and personalized responses. The SCI "pipeline" system provides for new and used vehicles, as well as for parts and service leads. GM is automatically provided with lead response data to allow the effectiveness of the overall system to be monitored and controlled.
