BOULDER CITY, Nev., Oct. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Amerityre Corporation , a leading developer of polyurethane tire technologies, today announced that it has completed shipment of five light-weight fill machines for its high-quality polyurethane foam for use in the commercial tire fill market. Each fill machine is expected to pump between 100,000 to 200,000 lbs. of fill material annually, although the capacity of each machine is in excess of 500,000 lbs. per year. The company has an additional six machines in the pipeline that it expects to place with other potential customers this fall. The fill machines are being sold to new customers in combination with Amerityre's tire fill material, which is marketed under the name Amerifill(R), and is based on Amerityre's proven, premier "flat-free," closed-cell, environmentally friendly polyurethane foam technology.
"I am very pleased to confirm that we have had tremendous success using Amerityre's new light-weight tire fill technology in various applications. With these results in hand, we are now expanding our aggressive marketing campaign to introduce this new environmentally friendly technology to all of Canada," commented Thomas Ryan, President, Flat Free Tires (Canada) Inc.
According to Dr. Gary Benninger, Amerityre's President and CEO, "Amerifill(R) can be used in many tire applications including construction, industrial, and mining applications to "flat-proof" and extend the life of rubber tires. We have shown that Amerifill(R) performs better under load, runs cooler, and is more durable than current comparable materials. We have evaluated Amerifill(R) in the field and in side-by-side comparison testing conducted by independent test laboratories. These evaluations and tests demonstrate that in many applications both the fill weight and cost can be significantly reduced by switching from the current oil based, environmentally hazardous fill materials to Amerifill(R)."
