ATLANTA, Aug. 29 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The U.S. Small Business Administration announces today that the Disaster Center in Pennsylvania will be closed Monday, September 1 in recognition of Labor Day, re-open Tuesday and will remain open until operations cease on Thursday, September 4th at the close of business.
The SBA urges disaster victims to visit the Center before the closing to obtain one-on-one assistance and information about the SBA's disaster assistance program. The SBA also encourages those victims who receive applications to return the completed applications as quickly as possible. The Center is located at:

Anyone unable to visit the Center may obtain an application or SBA program information by calling the SBA's Customer Service Center at 1-800-659-2955 (1- 800-877-8339 for the hearing-impaired), Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (EDT), (Labor Day 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.) or by emailing the Customer Service Center at disastercustomerservice@sba.gov. Business loan applications can also be downloaded from the SBA website at http://www.sba.gov/services/disasterassistance. Victims may now apply for disaster loans from SBA's secure website at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela/.
The filing deadline to return applications for property damage is October 20, 2008. The deadline to return economic injury applications is May 20, 2009.
