Markets don’t go straight down so futures right now are pointing up big..finally! Of course, we’ve tried to bounce before so it’ll be interesting to see if this sticks…I’m hoping it doesn’t hold so we can get some true panic. In any case, here are some plays to consider:

GASS $13 to $6 in 5 days…potential bouncer, that is if you’re into falling knives…and HERE are 13 more low priced falling knives

ISRG was my bounce play yesterday (made a quick 3%, or $200, and took it, bring my yearly gains to the 140% area…detailed post coming) looks like it’ll open up big today so coulda woulda shoulda held overnight as the pattern—while not as reliable as shorting into short squeezes—is pretty much the same, wait for the first green day after huge down moves on no news…as I told TIMalert subscribers yesterday, I’m waaaay more comfortable playing bounces in strong companies just as I prefer shorting fundamentally flawed ones…understand hwo that works?

YGE was a decent bouncer from the get go and some TIMalerts subscribers banked..ahhh the importance of having a premarket watchlist…check out this guy:

YRCW is a great bouncer, up $1.50 in the last 3 hours yesterday…shoulda woulda coulda

MHGC barely rebounded…so far…remember our ideal Short Selling pattern and reverse it!

CBL surged $2 from the market open, wasn’t much to be done after that, no different than a morning panic, you gotta be in the position overnight or quick from the get go if you wanna profit from a morning surge.

PPC was up 30%+, but if you look at its yearly chart, you see this move isn’t even a blip on the radar…not shortable…yet

ZYXI finally got the $1/share morning panic I’ve been watching for and then rebounded a bit, but I couldn’t find any shares to short whatsoever…sad…but some TIMalert subscribers with accounts at IB and Goldman got shares and profited nicely.

   market bounces so far are pathetic , looks like we’re gonna need a massive wipeout before any big rebound

   Tim, love that you’re public like this and so transparent. That’s very rare to find. Don’t want to be a hater, but here are my honest thoughts after reading everything on your site, and reading up on your programs and checking out your covestor, etc (i.e. I did my research on you)

   One thing though, I automatically get a bad feeling about your site when I read that you made $4k trading last month and $40k off your blog/teaching last month. It’s good that you’re open about it and I guess it’s good that you’re on pace to make about $500k a year with little overhead, but the basic questions up like:

   1) why is he giving away all this information?
   2) why is he making most of his money from selling people on how to make money rather than by trading?
   etc.

   Ben, good questions, the reason i’m not ashamed to be making 10x off blogging what i do form trading is this strategy, especially in my impatient hands, is not scalable–even if I traded with allt he $600k to my name, I’d still only make a few hundred grand/year as I don’t like leverage, I take profits too quickly and the stocks I trade arent usually bigtime liquid enough to short millions of shares (SIL was the exception)…the good news is that there’s so much Bs out there, people like Cramer are down 30%+ on the year, all I have to do is show people they can make $ consistently, even if its just a few grand/month–lots of people would like an extra $4k from 10 trades–if they learn to use their small size to their advantage and pick their spots much more carefully

   Hi Tim,
   I don;t want to sound repetitive, but you are incredible…and nice, and give great advice for free. I hope people keep buying your DVDs and books and following your advice so you can get even richier and more successful!
   Well, I’m a woman in my 30’s, brazilian, single mom, make about 70k/year. I owe about 15k in credit card and that’s it. Don’t own anything but a jetta 2003. I do have an IRA account( it was worth 7K in Feb ‘08) now it’s down to 3.5K
   I wold love to learn from you, I read your blog pretty often, but I don’t know if it’s the language barrier or what else, but it just doesn’t sink in!!
   Is there any detour, or a simplyfied formula for people like me?? I consider myself pretty smart, good with math, but S…I can’t do this!! But somehow I need to pay off this cc that’s killing me and do something with the remaining of what;s left of my IRA!!!!
   Do you think I’m fucked??
   Should I just go back to Brasil and strugle in a country where people are poor but happy?? I’m a citizen here. I would love to stay and survive, but..
   Tim, can you take your precious time and respond to my nonsense??
